At Bulmer Farms we have several irrigation systems in place, fixed sprinklers, pivot travellers and spray guns. As new farms are brought online our infrastructure team systematically install fixed irrigation sprinklers to each new field. Various crops at different sites have been trialled with trickle irrigation to determine suitability and analyse water efficiencies.
Agronomists
Soil, water and crop health are closely monitored by our farm agronomists who then develop the necessary spray and fertiliser programs to generate maximum yields. Our agronomists also assist with the planning of our yearly planting programs.
Weed and Pest Control
Always sensitive to the environment and to our neighbours we apply the least amount of chemicals possible at times that will have the least impact on the environment. Our agronomists oversee the safe implementation of our spray program.
